Main Operation

The rotary guillotine cutting machine is used for fine powder strands, as needed for the production of propellants.

Available Capacities

The rotary guillotine cutting machine has a cutting capacity of 200 up to 500 kg/h depending on the used type of powder.

BOWAS is in a position to offer a modern, state of the art plant concept which fits into the concept of existing client’s plant sections actually under modernization and as stand alone solutions. The plant concept aims at offering the most economic solution which follows the client’s requirements.

The main task is to cut fine powder strands for the production of propellants, charged directly from the pre-drying process.

Fine powder strands in suitable (ready-for-use) lengths will be manually fed into the chute of the cutting machine accurately.

Through a feed unit with regulated pass rolls, the powder strands come up to the bed knives edges, which are mounted on a sturdy wheel. Up to 12 cutting blades can be mounted on the wheel.

The equipment is designed for a high availability at low maintenance costs. The rotary guillotine Type 500 is a flexible machine which satisfies all needs of fine powder strand cutting.
